Text and files you enter in the tools
Every tool on OMGToolbox runs as JavaScript in your browser. The text you type or paste and the files you open are processed on your device. They are not uploaded to our server, and we do not store, read, or share them. When you close or reload the page, the input is gone.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web server and hosting provider keep standard access logs when you load a page. These logs contain your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page, and the time of the request. We use them only to keep the site secure and running, for example to detect abuse or fix errors, and we keep them no longer than needed for that purpose.
Cookies
The site sets two cookies that are needed for it to work securely: a session cookie and a security token cookie (XSRF-TOKEN) that protects against cross-site request forgery. They do not identify you personally and expire after a short time.
Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) to tell new visits from returning ones. They are described in the next section. We do not use advertising cookies.
Analytics and other third-party services
Our pages load the Inter font from Bunny Fonts (fonts.bunny.net). To deliver the font, your browser connects to their servers, which can see your IP address. Bunny Fonts publishes its own privacy policy at bunny.net.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive (for example from a search engine), and general information such as country, device type, and browser. Google Analytics receives your IP address to work out an approximate location and does not store or log it. It never receives the text or files you enter in the tools. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
You can block Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), with most ad or tracker blockers, or by blocking cookies for this site in your browser. The tools work the same either way.
We do not use advertising services. If we add any, we will update this policy before doing so.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to fix the problem you report, and we do not add you to any mailing list. You can ask us to delete the conversation at any time.
Children
OMGToolbox is a general-audience site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Because the tools do not send your input to us, the only personal information we normally hold is server logs, the analytics data described above, and emails you send us. To make a request, email [email protected].

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
