How to generate lorem ipsum

Is the text different every time?
Yes. Each press builds new sentences from the vocabulary, so you get a different result. Only the classic opening, when selected, is always the same.
What does the classic start do?
It begins the text with the traditional opening, Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, which most people expect to see. Random start skips it and begins with any words from the list.
How long are the generated sentences and paragraphs?
Sentences have between 6 and 14 words, usually with a comma in longer ones, and paragraphs have between 3 and 6 sentences. Words are separated by single spaces.
What does the HTML option change?
Each paragraph is placed inside its own p element on a separate line. When you generate sentences or words, all of the text is wrapped in a single p element.
Can I use lorem ipsum on a live site?
It is meant for drafts and mockups. Leaving it on a published page looks unfinished and can hurt search results, so replace it with real content before launch.
