About this dice roller
This online dice roller replaces a bag of polyhedral dice for board games and tabletop role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons. Pick any standard die, a D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, or a percentile D100, roll up to twenty at once, and add a positive or negative modifier for your skill or attack bonus. Every die is drawn with the browser’s cryptographic random generator, so each face is equally likely. Rolling a 20 on a twenty-sided die is flagged as a natural 20 and a 1 as a natural 1, and your ten most recent rolls stay on screen.

Frequently asked questions
What does 2d6+3 mean?
It is dice notation: roll two six-sided dice, add the results, then add 3. The number before the d is how many dice, the number after it is how many sides, and the end is the modifier.
What is a natural 20?
It is rolling a 20 on a twenty-sided die before any modifier is added. In many role-playing games it means a critical success, while a natural 1 is a critical failure.
Are the dice fair?
Yes. Each die uses the Web Crypto random generator with no bias, so every face has an equal chance, unlike some physical dice that are slightly unbalanced.
How do I roll percentile dice?
Choose D100 for a single number from 1 to 100. It gives the same result as rolling two ten-sided dice for tens and units, where 00 and 0 count as 100.
